Wilma

Wilma M. Stara, 91, of Columbus, formerly of Schuyler, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Beloit, Kansas. Wilma was born March 20, 1921 in Dwight, Nebraska to Fred and Agnes (Kastner) Kobza. She attended Schuyler Public School. Wilma resided in Colfax County for 35 years and raised 6 children. She worked in the Clarkson Bakery for 10 years and retired in 1985 and moved to Loup City. Wilma is survived by a son Jerry Cech of Athens, Alabama; daughters: Rose Ann (Robert) Gall of Howells, Judy Miller of Columbus, Jan (Marty) Czaplewski of Kearney, Lorraine Book of Creston and Linda Cech of Aurora; sister Eleanor Hruska of Columbus; 26 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jim Kobza and Leo Kobza, sisters Martha Rerucha, Agnes Fendrick, Rose Svoboda, Mary Masek and Helen Welch; son-in-law Roger Miller and 2 great grandsons.
