Roger Longmeyer

Roger D. Longmeyer, 61, of Omaha passed away on April 24, 2013 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center in Omaha.
Per Roger's request, there will be an immediate burial with a family graveside service at Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Bellwood, Nebraska.
Roger was born on April 29, 1951 to Ivan and Marian(Marquardt) Longmeyer. He attended Missouri Valley Schools, graduating in 1969. After graduation he enlisted into the US Army.
Roger worked for John Deere (Missouri Valley) and drove semi's for Dilts Trucking (Crescent) up until the summer flood of 2011. He enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, and stock car races. He also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother: Mirian Longmeyer of Missouri Valley IA, loving girlfriend: Lorri Esnough, children: Jason (Jodi) Longmeyer, Jeremy (Lisa) Longmeyer, Nick (Amanda) Longmeyer, Shanna Longmeyer, Stuart Longmeyer, Mara, Taylor and Tommy Esnough all of Ralston, NE. Seven grandchildren: Mason, Andrew, Payton, Myles, Evelyn, Madison Longmeyer, and Briella Delgato all of Omaha. He is also survived by many other family, friends, coworkers and loved ones.
Roger is preceded in death by his father: Ivan Longmeyer (1996), bother Jo (2008), paternal grandparents Edward and Edna Longmeyer and maternal grandparents Henry and Hazel Marquardt.
