Michael Lawrence

Michael Lawrence, 71, formerly of Schuyler, passed away Sunday June 25, 2017 at the Wisner Care Center. Michael was born July 25, 1945 to Earl and Geneva (Hively) Lawrence in Quincy, IL. He married Carol Rumsey January 25, 1965 in Palmyra, MO and they lived in Texas for 20 years before moving to Schuyler in 1990. Michael, in his free time, loved collecting antique cups and mugs, watching western movies particularly those with John Wayne, as well as tinkering with guns. He had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with his family. Michael is survived by his daughters: Michele (Joe) Livar of Midlothian, TX and Anita (Federico) Gomez-Lawrence of Guatemala; grandchildren: Aaron (Mirma) Lawrence of Omaha, Christopher (Kristine) Lawrence of Waxahachie, TX, Robert (Jesse) Hamm of Belton, TX, David (Christina) Segura of Waxahachie, TX, Lily Gomez, Jared Gomez, Asher Gomez, Ariel Gomez of Guatemala and numerous nieces and nephews.
