Mary Ernesti

Mary C. Ernesti, 100, of Dodge died July 11, 2012 at Parkview Home in Dodge. Mary was born July 22, 1911 in Cuming County Nebraska to Edward and Margaret (Lummel) Wolff. She attended Guardian Angel Catholic School in West Point. On May 7, 1930, Mary married Joseph Ernesti at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Howells, the Altar Society and the Legion Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed quilting, crafts, raising flowers, baking, doing embroidery work and playing cards with the grandkids. Mary is survived by sons: Alvin (Dona) Ernesti of Columbus, NE, Gary (Dee) Ernesti of Omaha, NE, daughters: Elaine (John) Drey of Pasadena, TX, and Kathy (Donald) Tomka of Dodge, NE; Daughter-in-law Jean Ernesti of Lincoln; 28 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph (1998), sons Edward (2005) Richard (2012) and Dennis (1984) daughter-in-law Gertrude Ernesti, grandson Jeff Ernesti, granddaughter Molly Drey and great granddaughter Jenna Ulrich; brother and sister-in-law Leo and Betty Wolff, sister Sister Veronica Wolff, sister and brother in-law Helen and Henry Ortmeier, sister and brother-in-law Tillie and Alvin Drey.
