Mary Ann Day, 47, of St. George, Utah, passed away on July 29, 2013.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City with Father Bernard Kimminau officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Mary Ann was born September 21, 1965 to Margaret and Eugene Grubaugh in David City, NE. She graduated from David City High School and married Paul Day in Columbus on August 28, 1990.
She worked at Wal-Mart for many years. Mary Ann enjoyed reading and hiking the outdoors. Hobbies included puzzles and collecting lighthouses. Her children were the light of her life.
Mary Ann will always be loved and remembered by their children: Jennifer (Mike) Saindon, Kimberly (Matt) Tryon and Brandon Day of St. George, UT, Melinda Velecela of Bellwood, NE, and Nick (Elaina) Day of Columbus, NE; grandchildren: Jay and Juliah Saindon, Mia and Gia Velecela, and Tyler Day; parents: Margaret and Eugene Grubaugh of David City, NE; siblings: Connie Perry (Dean Venter), Jeannie (Steve) Ienn, Tom Grubaugh, Corey Grubaugh, Paul (Deb) Grubaugh, Carey Grubaugh, ken Grubaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
