Marilyn Peters of Thornton, CO passed away on January 3, 2018 at age 80.


A light luncheon will follow the graveside service at Winfields.

Marilyn was born March 13, 1937 in Rising City, NE to Kenneth and Martha Miller. She lived the early part of her life in Columbus, & Broken Bow, Nebraska. In 1977 Marilyn moved with her husband William Peters to Sumter, SC were they spent many years. From there, they relocated to Morris Plains, NJ before retiring in 1992 to Scottsdale, AZ & Centennial, CO. They were currently living in Thornton, Colorado.

Marilyn is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, William J Peters of Thornton, CO and her son Steven (Kathleen), granddaughter Amy and grandson Mick and sister Geraldine Gruenewald. She was proceeded in death by her daughter, Brenda, her brother Kenny Miller and nephew Chris Gruenewald.

Marilyn enjoyed bridge club, book club, and was an active member of Todd Creek Hatters. She thoroughly enjoyed taking cruises and flying around the world as well as spending time with her grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, January 10th at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Brighton, Colorado. Service to start at 11:00 am.
