Maria M Burton

Born on September 12, 1932 in Meoqui, Chihuahua of Mexico and passed, surrounded by family, on February 25, 2018 in Schuyler, Nebraska.

Maria loved to garden, sew, decorate, travel, dance, and sing, while enjoying a cold can of Coors. She also passed down the beloved tradition of making tamales on Christmas Eve.

Loving, caring, and compassionate, she made sure we all had a good time.

She is survived by her Son: William A. Burton of Oregon; Daughters: Nellie (Terry) Brown of Oregon, Terry (Javier) Lopez of New Mexico, Rachel (Arturo) Hernandez of California, Josie Warrington of Texas, Aida (Jose) Y. Hernandez of Nebraska, Martha (Luis) Viquez of Nebraska, and by 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
