She first worked as an aide and then returned to school at the North-East Community College and became a licensed practical nurse / LPN. She continued to work at Parkview until 2015. Margaret continued caring for others into retirement as a volunteer healthcare giver and driver of close friends.

Margaret was a lifetime member of Saint Peter and Paul and was a past president of the Christian Mothers and taught catechism. She could be found on Saturday evenings frequenting local country parish masses in Olean and Heun.

She is survived by all four children: LaDonna Konsel (Omaha); Barbara Shapiro (Richard) (Kansas City); Brenda Coppard (Omaha); David (Brian Rivette) (Salt Lake City); by her sister Barbara Hader, brothers Johnny Hader and Robert Hader (Janice); and by her beloved grandchildren Brett Konsel, Ryan Konsel (Jen), Sarah Shapiro, and Katie Coppard.
