Lois Raric

Lois Raric, 87, of David City passed away on February 3, 2013 at St. Joseph's Villa.
Funeral Service is Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 10:00am at United Methodist Church in Bellwood with Reverend Mark Schutt officiating. Visitation is Friday, February 8 from 5-7pm at Chermok Funeral Home.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS: Memorial have been suggested to the David M. Raric Scholarship Fund, and the United Methodist Church.
Lois Jeanette Raric was born July 3, 1925 to Warren and Marjorie in Bellwood. She completed high school at Cal-Poly High School in Long Beach, CA. Lois married Bob Raric on October 12, 1944 in Schuyler in Bess Kasparek's living room. She wore a blue dress with yellow butterfly's, while Bob wore his suit from high school.
She worked as a Secretary at Bellwood Public Schools for many years, Lois also worked for Ray Smith, CPA for a few years. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for about 35 years. She enjoyed the piano, music, reading, baking, making candies and fudge to send out to friends and family for Christmas, and she especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois was a member of Rebecca Lodge, DUV(Daughters of Union Veterans), and United Methodist Women groups.
Lois is survived by her husband, Bob; Daughter: Pat Mick of Bellwood, Sisters: Marcia Flores of Ontario, CA, and LaRee Day of Victorville, CA; Daughter-in-law: Susan Zlomke; Grandchildren: Jene(Bob) Thyren of Rapid City, SD, Lyne(Steve) Rerucha of David City, Andre Mick of Lincoln, and Misty(Travis) Raric-Mooney of Hampton; Great-grandchildren: Brett and Daniel Thyren, Laura Bierman, Holly, Aaron, and Hope Rerucha, Ian Raric, Kale Mooney, and Trinity Mooney.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sons:Richard, Robert, and David Michael; Son-in-law: Jerry Mick; Brothers: Robert, Richard, George, and Donald Bouton.
