June M. Tresnak, 89, of Fremont, formerly of Howells, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
Memorials can be designated to the family for later designation.
Funeral Services for June will be on Monday, June 8 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howells. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 until 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery with lunch following at the Howells American Legion. Svoboda Moravec Johnson is handling arrangements for June's family.
June was born on June 7, 1936 in Clarkson to Emil and Alva (Loeske) Brdicko. She attended school in Clarkson and graduated with the class of 1954. At a dance in Howells, June would come to meet her future husband Joe, the couple was married on November 12, 1955.
June loved any opportunity to get together with her family and friends whether it was playing a game of cards, talking for hours, or just getting to spend time together. Her family meant the world to her and she always looked forward to going to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s activities. June was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church and belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church’s Ladies Aid; June also was a long-time member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #155 and a member of the Howells Women’s Club.
June is survived by her children Gregory (Cynthia) Tresnak of Scribner and Pam (Doug) Bazata of Howells. Grandchildren: Brad (Renee) Utemark and their children Chase (Lexis) Utemark and son Knox, Brittney Utemark and daughter Breckyn Smyler, Nicole (Brian) Wigington, Derek (Stephanie Rhea) Tresnak and their children Lola, Cori and Nora Rhea, Jarrod (Kari) Bazata and their son Beau, Justin (Michelle) Bazata and their son Esden, Jayda (Logan) Nelson and their son Tayte.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe in 2019, parents Emil and Alva Brdicko, parents-in-law Joseph and Helen Tresnak, great-granddaughter Mya Bazata, sisters-in-law MaryAnn Tresnak Sadler, and Verona Tresnak-Rydel
