Eleanor A. Elam, 74, of Rising City, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Eleanor was born on January 17, 1945 to Rudolph and Anna (Bourek) Lapacek near Richland, Nebraska. She worked on the floor at the Schuyler PAC for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, growing house plants, spending time with her grandchildren. She liked working puzzle books, enjoyed watching the Hunting Channel, listening to polka music, and playing cards, especially Solitaire.
Eleanor is survived by her children: Roy Kucera of Columbus and Ruby(Alan) Ladehoff of Rising City. Four Sisters: Irene Stepanek of Lincoln, Betty Fielder of San Pablo, CA, Norma Fielder of Dannebrog, NE, and Donna Lacina of David City. 2 Granchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest sister, Marjorie Stienbach.
