Edward Polacek Jr., 71, of Ashland, formerly of David City, died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Ashland Care Center.

Edward was born on January 4, 1947 at Brainard, Nebraska to Edward and Mary (Fuxa) Polacek Sr. He helped his dad farm and take care of his mother, after his father's death.
Eddie was a member of Assumption Church in Dwight. He loved to play bingo. After his mother's death, Eddie went to live in Lincoln at the O.U.R. Home and in 2004 was transferred to Ashland Care Center where he lived until his death.
He is survived by cousins and his guardian, Bill Juranek. He was preceded in death by his parents.
