Denise Dubsky, 59, of Schuyler passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at her home in Schuyler.
Memorials can be directed towards Family Wishes for later designation.
Per Denise's wishes she has been cremated.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Schuyler with Pastor Amanda Hefner officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service on Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the church. Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
Denise was born in Schuyler, on February 12, 1963 to Amos and Maryann (Sloup) Faltys. She attended schools in the Schuyler area until her graduation from Schuyler High School. Denise went on to attend college at Omaha’s College of Health Care. She came back to Schuyler where she began working for Karel and Seckman Law. Last month, Denise celebrated her 40th year of service at the Law Office.
Denise was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Schuyler, where she was a very active member-teaching Sunday school, a member of the Altar Committee, and could regularly be found at any church function. Denise also served as a regular volunteer at the local food pantry. Denise loved crafts, especially decorating the bulletin board at church for specific holidays and occasions. She also enjoyed playing the piano, and singing at church. Denise was very creative and cherished everything that was brought into her presence. You could always see Denise with a smile on her face and she firmly believed in living by the golden rule of treating others how you would want to be treated. Denise was known best for her generosity and always putting others first.
Denise is survived by her daughter, Sara (Logan) Fischer, 2 sisters, Marjorie Hernandez and Shirley (Dave) Valish, and brother, Randy Faltys, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Bonnie Jo, and her grandparents, Joseph and Olga Faltys, and Martin and Mary Sloup.
