Christine R. Steinhauer, 47, of Linwood, died Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Christine was born on September 30, 1968 in Omaha, Nebraska to Gene and Janice(Sunkenberg)Babb. She married Jeff Steinhauer on June 2, 1994. Two children were born to this union.

Christine loved animals and she and Jeff operated a rescue for exotic birds. She enjoyed music, dancing fishing and camping, and believed that family and friends came first before her own needs. She was a loving wife, mother, step-mother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff of Linwood, daughters: Nisa and Sara Steinhauer, step-daughter: Jessica Rykes, one brother: Chuck Babb of Beaver Lake, NE, and one sister: Ann(Cory)Eastlick of Colorado. 4 step-grandchildren: Kyla, Kloie, Kaleb and Khaleesi. She was preceded in death by her parents.
